Utonagan
are a new and rare breed which have been selectively bred to look as much like the Canadian TimberWolf
as possible (see History).
Unlike Wolf hybrids the Utonagan temperament is exemplary, as demonstrated by
Iskote in the PAT (Pets as Therapy) Pet Parade at
CRUFTS 2005,
and their reputation with children and other animals
is becoming legendary.
Utonagan are a highly "Pack Orientated" breed and lack of effective communication (Amichien Bonding) can result in separation anxiety.

I came across this breed and fell in love and whereas I initially only wanted one pet dog for company
I ended up with a good sized pack, and doing all the research you can find here and more.
|
I use Amichien Bonding (training method) from birth and feed nothing but
BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food, also known as Bones and Raw Food);
I believe that this gives puppies
the best start in life, and a healthier dog for life, and I am glad to be able to say that my puppy owners agree.
Research and my own experience tells us that a raw food diet can reduce vets bills.
Amichien Bonding has turned what was a chaotic house, into one of peace and tranquility, where dogs eat, sleep and play without a care in the world (well except when it comes to bath time *grin*).
